SANAA, 12 Dec -- Deputy Interior Minister, Brigadier General Saleh Hussein al-Zouari Saturday refuted allegations by separatists in the south that security forces are behind the death, and theft of private property of people from north Yemen.  The Security Media Centre at the ministry cited al-Zaouari as saying “such stupid allegations are a desperate attempt to cover the obvious,” and voiced “astonishment at the ability of the killers to shed tears over their victims,” adding “agents, spies and traitors at the so-called southern peaceful struggle movement have inherited assassinations and murder.”  He said “killing innocent people, and looting properties of citizens travelling in public roads are the work of deprived persons who have no morals, ethics, faith or tribe,” stressing “there are many evidences that link members of the southern movement to these crimes and security agencies won’t allow them to continue shedding the blood of innocent people,” and warned the separatists “their fate will be like that of the Khmer Rouge of Cambodia who are standing trials nowadays by the hundreds.”
